Thousands of Henderson's fawn lily <I>(Erythronium hendersonii)</I> in peak bloom. Some Grass Widow <I>(Olsynium douglasii)</I> still in bloom. Also in bloom: whiteleaf manzanita <I>(Arctostaphylos viscida)</I>, great hound’s tongue <I>(Cynoglossum grande)</I>, spring gold <I>(Lomatium utriculatum)</I>, poverty clover <I>(Trifolium depauperatum)</I>, large-flowered blue-eyed Mary <I>(Collinsia grandiflora)</I>, wooly meadowfoam <I>(Limnanthes floccosa ssp. pumila)</I>, western sweet-cicely <I>(Osmorhiza occidentalis)</I>, western buttercup <I>(Ranunculus occidentalis)</I>, wholeleaf saxifrage <I>(Saxifraga integrifolia)</I>, slender phlox <I>(Phlox gracilis)</I>, Nuttall’s toothwort <I>(Cardamine nuttallii ?)</I>, popcorn flower <I>(Plagiobothrys sp.)</I>, gold fields <I>(Lasthenia californica)</I>, Henderson's shooting star <I>(Dodecatheon hendersonii)</I>, blue-eyed mary <I>(Collinsia sp.)</I>, and birchleaf mountain-mahogany <I>(Cercocarpus betuloides)</I>. <P> Also, some small-flowered nemophila <I>(Nemophila parviflora </I>var. <I>austinae)</I>, chickweed monkeyflower <I>(Mimulus alsinoides)</I>, miniature lupine <I>(Lupinus bicolor)</I>, rusty popcorn flower <I>(Plagiobothrys nothofulvus)</I>, and Klamath plum <I>(Prunus subcordata)</I>. <P> Scarlet fritillary <I>(Fritillaria recurva)</I> getting ready to open up, probably in another week.
