Welcome to OregonWildflowers.org! 2022 marks the 15th anniversary of this website, which was conceived in late 2006 by Greg Lief and went live in April 2007.

This site serves as a community resource for wildflower and photography enthusiasts to share information on where and when to visit Oregon (and Southwest Washington)'s best wildflower spots. You can find the best wildflower locations, and read (or add your own) trip reports and photos. You can participate in our user forum discussions, and download free wallpaper to brighten your desktop.

We also have an extremely active Facebook Group where you can interact with fellow Oregon/Pacific Northwest wildflower enthusiasts. The OW group is a great companion to this website, and is the ideal place to get up-to-the-minute bloom conditions.

Plus you can also send any photograph as an e-card! Just click on a thumbnail to display the full-size image, then click upon the full-size image when it has finished loading.

Is this website really free?

YES! OW has always been a labor of love. Since OW's inception in April 2007, we have not accepted advertising, nor do we sell or give away our mailing list or visitors` personal information. We refuse to betray anyone`s trust.

ALAS... web hosting is not free, so we are deeply grateful to The Alternative Facts, our web hosting sponsor. This Portland-based group produces environmentally friendly and socially conscious music that deserves to be heard and shared. So if you find this website useful, please thank our sponsor by listening to their music.
