CommentsThousands of Henderson's fawn lily (Erythronium hendersonii) in peak bloom. Some Grass Widow (Olsynium douglasii) still in bloom. Also in bloom: whiteleaf manzanita (Arctostaphylos viscida), great hound’s tongue (Cynoglossum grande), spring gold (Lomatium utriculatum), poverty clover (Trifolium depauperatum), large-flowered blue-eyed Mary (Collinsia grandiflora), wooly meadowfoam (Limnanthes floccosa ssp. pumila), western sweet-cicely (Osmorhiza occidentalis), western buttercup (Ranunculus occidentalis), wholeleaf saxifrage (Saxifraga integrifolia), slender phlox (Phlox gracilis), Nuttall’s toothwort (Cardamine nuttallii ?), popcorn flower (Plagiobothrys sp.), gold fields (Lasthenia californica), Henderson's shooting star (Dodecatheon hendersonii), blue-eyed mary (Collinsia sp.), and birchleaf mountain-mahogany (Cercocarpus betuloides).

Also, some small-flowered nemophila (Nemophila parviflora var. austinae), chickweed monkeyflower (Mimulus alsinoides), miniature lupine (Lupinus bicolor), rusty popcorn flower (Plagiobothrys nothofulvus), and Klamath plum (Prunus subcordata).

Scarlet fritillary (Fritillaria recurva) getting ready to open up, probably in another week.
