Endless carpets of Star-Flowered Solomon's-Seal <I>(Maianthemum stellatum)</I>, lots of Fairy Bells <I>(Prosartes hookeri)</I> and Redwood Sorrel <I>(Oxalis oregana)</I>, Pacific Bleeding Heart <I>(Dicentra formosa)</I>, Salmonberry <I>(Rubus spectabilis)</I>, Wood Violet <I>(Viola glabella)</I>, Candyflower <I>(Claytonia sibirica)</I>, Evergreen Violet <I>(Viola sempervirens)</I>, Wood Strawberry <I>(Fragaria vesca)</I>, and Vanilla Leaf <I>(Achlys triphylla)</I>. There is also some Western Columbine <I>(Aquilegia formosa)</I> and Penstemon <I>(Penstemon sp.)</I> blooming near the trailhead.

<B>Blooming in the summit meadows</B>: tons of Spring Gold <I>(Lomatium utriculatum)</I>, Cliff Larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>, Arrow-Leaf
Groundsel <I>(Senecio triangularis)</I>, Harsh Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja hispida)</I>, and Catchfly <I>(Silene douglasii)</I>. Also blooming near the summit are Cardwell's Penstemon <I>(Penstemon cardwellii)</I>, Spreading Phlox <I>(Phlox diffusa)</I>, Roundleaf violet <I>(Viola orbiculata)</I>, Early Blue violet <I>(Viola adunca)</I>, Wild Strawberry <I>(Fragaria virginiana)</I>, Small-Flowered Blue-Eyed Mary <I>(Collinsia parviflora)</I>, Western Buttercup <I>(Ranunculus occidentalis </I>var.<I> occidentalis)</I>, and Rough Wallflower <I>(Erysium asperum)</I>. No lupine or tiger lily blooms yet... these
should start within the next 7-10 days.
