CommentsBlooming in the forest along the Meadow's Edge Trail: Endless carpets of Star-Flowered Solomon's-Seal (Maianthemum stellatum), lots of Fairy Bells (Prosartes hookeri) and Redwood Sorrel (Oxalis oregana), Pacific Bleeding Heart (Dicentra formosa), Salmonberry (Rubus spectabilis), Wood Violet (Viola glabella), Candyflower (Claytonia sibirica), Evergreen Violet (Viola sempervirens), Wood Strawberry (Fragaria vesca), and Vanilla Leaf (Achlys triphylla). There is also some Western Columbine (Aquilegia formosa) and Penstemon (Penstemon sp.) blooming near the trailhead.

Blooming in the summit meadows: tons of Spring Gold (Lomatium utriculatum), Cliff Larkspur (Delphinium menziesii), Arrow-Leaf Groundsel (Senecio triangularis), Harsh Paintbrush (Castilleja hispida), and Catchfly (Silene douglasii). Also blooming near the summit are Cardwell's Penstemon (Penstemon cardwellii), Spreading Phlox (Phlox diffusa), Roundleaf violet (Viola orbiculata), Early Blue violet (Viola adunca), Wild Strawberry (Fragaria virginiana), Small-Flowered Blue-Eyed Mary (Collinsia parviflora), Western Buttercup (Ranunculus occidentalis var. occidentalis), and Rough Wallflower (Erysium asperum). No lupine or tiger lily blooms yet... these should start within the next 7-10 days.
