| Comments | Unfortunately this is not the best year for balsamroot. It looks blighted. In addition to the Arrow-leaf Balsamroot (Balsamhoriza sagittata) and Columbia Gorge Lupine (Lupinus latifolius var. thompsonianus), there is plenty of Rigid Fiddleneck (Amsinckia retrorsa), Yakima Milk-vetch (Astragalus reventiformis), Small-flowered Prairie Star (Lithophragma parviflorum), and Smooth Prairie Star Lithophragma glabra) in bloom. |
