The most prevalent bloomers are Grass Widows (Olsynium douglasii) and Smooth Prairie Star (Lithophragma glabrum). (Ordinarily the Grass Widows would be well past peak, if not entirely finished, but everything is behind schedule this spring.)

Other wildflowers currently blooming include: Gold Stars (Crocidium multicaule); Yellow Bells (Fritillaria pudica); Pungent Desert Parsley (Lomatium grayi); Columbia Gorge Desert Parsley (Lomatium columbianum) especially at higher elevations; Western Buttercup (Ranunculus occidentalis) and Oaks Toothwort (Cardamine nuttallii var. nuttallii) in treed areas; and Small-Flowered Blue-Eyed Mary (Collinsia parviflora).
