Blooming in the meadows: lots of Streambank Lupine <I>(Lupinus rivularis)</I> and Hairy Checkermallow <I>(Sidalcea hirtipes)</I>, Cascade Head Catchfly <I>(Silene douglasii </I>var. <I>oraria)</I>, Western Buttercup <I>(Ranunculus occidentalis)</I>, Bigroot <I>(Marah oreganus)</I>, and some Foxglove <I>(Digitalis purpurea)</I>. At higher elevations you will also see Wild Strawberry <I>(Fragaria virginiana)</I>, Coastal Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja affinis)</I>, Cliff Larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>, Oregon Iris <I>(Iris tenax)</I>, Early Blue Violet <I>(Viola adunca)</I>, and Blue-Eyed Grass <I>(Sisyrinchium idahoense</I> var.<I> macounii)</I>. <P> Blooming along the trail in the forest: carpets of Candyflower <I>(Claytonia sibirica)</I>, Redwood Sorrel <I>(Oxalis oregana)</I>, Mexican Hedge-Nettle <I>(Stachys mexicana)</I>, Fringe Cup <I>(Tellima grandiflora)</I>, Vanilla Leaf <I>(Achlys triphylla)</I>, Cow Parsnip <I>(Heracleum maximum)</I>, Fairy Lanterns <I>(Prosartes smithii)</I>, some Pacific Bleeding Heart <I>(Dicentra formosa)</I>, Salmonberry <I>(Rubus spectabilis)</I>, Pacific Waterleaf <I>(Hydrophyllum tenuipes)</I> near the stream crossings, Common Monkeyflower <I>(Mimulus guttatus)</I>, Thimbleberry <I>(Rubus parviflorus)</I>, Bigroot <I>(Marah oreganus)</I>, several patches of Spur Lupine <I>(Lupinus arbustus)</I>, occasional Wood Violet <I>(Viola glabella)</I>, and Youth-On-Age <I>(Tolmiea mensziesii)</I>.
