Although it is still early, there are already a fair number of species in bloom:
There are <B>many</B> Roundleaf violet <I>(Viola orbiculata)</I>, Early Blue violet <I>(Viola adunca)</I>, and Wild Strawberry <I>(Fragaria virginiana)</I> along the initial section of the old road. Just beyond the intersection of the old road and the Meadow's Edge Trail, there is a large patch of Glacier Lily <I>(Erythronium grandiflorum)</I> starting to bloom.

In the north meadow below the summit, there is a large group of Oregon Fawn Lily <I>(Erythronium oregonum)</I> in bloom. There are lupine leaves everywhere, but no inflorescence yet. At the summit there is a carpet of Spring Gold <I>(Lomatium utriculatum)</I>, along with lots of Cliff Larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I> and patches of Spreading Phlox <I>(Phlox diffusa)</I>. Along the old road just below the summit there is Indian Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja miniata)</I> just starting to bloom, along with lots of Small-Flowered Blue-Eyed Mary <I>(Collinsia parviflora)</I>, more Spreading Phlox, Catchfly <I>(Silene douglasii)</I>, Western Buttercup <I>(Ranunculus occidentalis </I>var.<I> occidentalis)</I>, and Rough Wallflower <I>(Erysium asperum)</I>. Penstemon leaves are visible, but there are no blooms yet.
