Blooming in the forest along the <A href="http://www.portlandhikersfieldguide.org/wiki/Marys_Peak_North_Ridge_Hike" target="_blank">North Ridge Trail</a>: Western Starflower <I>(Trientalis latifolia)</I>, Smith's Fairybell <I>(Disporum smithii)</I>, Twinflower <I>(Linnaea borealis)</I>, Foamflower <I>(Tiarella trifoliata)</I>, Vanilla Leaf <I>(Achlys triphylla)</I>, Redwood Sorrel <I>(Oxalis oregana)</I>, Candyflower <I>(Claytonia sibirica)</I>, Inside-Out Flower <I>(Vancouveria hexandra)</I>, Columbia Windflower <I>(Anemone deltoidea)</I>, Thimbleberry <I>(Rubus parviflorus)</I>, Prince's Pine <I>(Chimaphila umbellata)</I> several random Oregon Iris <I>(Iris tenax)</I>, Pacific Bleeding Heart <I>(Dicentra formosa)</I>, Smooth Yellow Violet <I>(Viola glabella)</I>, Spotted Coralroot <I>(Corallorrhiza maculata)</i>, Salal <I>(Gaultheria shallon)</I>, Yellow Monkey Flower <I>(Mimulus guttatus)</I>, Red Columbine <I>(Aquilegia formosa)</I>, and Star-Flowered Solomon's Seal <I>(Maianthemum stellatum)</I>, especially at higher elevations.

Blooming in the summit meadows: Cliff Larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>, Spring Gold <I>(Lomatium utriculatum)</I>, Roundleaf violet <I>(Viola orbiculata)</I>, Early Blue violet <I>(Viola adunca)</I>, Wild Strawberry <I>(Fragaria virginiana)</I>, Harsh Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja hispida)</I>, Catchfly <I>(Silene douglasii)</I>, Small-Flowered Blue-Eyed Mary <I>(Collinsia parviflora)</I>, Spreading Phlox <I>(Phlox diffusa)</I>, Bluefield gilia <I>(Gilia capitata)</I>, Arrow-Leaf Groundsel <I>(Senecio triangularis)</I>, Cardwell's Penstemon <I>(Penstemon cardwellii)</I>, Rough Wallflower
<I>(Erysimum asperum)</I>, and several patches of Beargrass <I>(Xerophyllum tenax). Still no lupine or tiger lilies yet! <P> <B>ROAD CONSTRUCTION CAVEAT:</B> Siuslaw National Forest is reconstructing sections of Marys Peak Road. This will make it impossible to drive all the way to the summit parking lot until further notice. Currently the road is open to Connor's Camp and the <A href="http://www.portlandhikersfieldguide.org/wiki/Connor%27s_Camp_Trailhead" target="_blank">East Ridge Trailhead</a> but <B>only on weekends</B>! The only way to hike to the summit on weekdays is via the <a href="http://www.portlandhikersfieldguide.org/wiki/Marys_Peak_North_Ridge_Hike" target="_blank">North Ridge Trail</a>.
