This was an exceptional stop. We missed the stop and had to turn around. Good thing too. This is just a little po-dunk place, very tiny sign, you have to be looking for it. It is between the river and the Illinois Valley Airport. We were the only ones there. It's just a parking lot on the side of the road but wow, what a display of flowers, unfortunately, the most of which we could not identify. Absolutely gorgeous display of all colors. We saw our first Wyoming paintbrush, red in color, which is indiginous to this area and absolutely beautiful. You will be happy you stopped, ok?
