This trail winds its way up to the base of Echo Mountain where it crosses small streams and wet boggy areas. In the woods walking up we saw Actea rubra, Mitella pentandra,Platanthera sparsiflora, Merensia paniculata and M. ciliata,also P. carneum.
The meadows were thick with V. viride, yet to bloom.
Blooming were D. formosa, D. jeffreyi, a buttercup, and P. groenlandica.
