It is still early... no lupine or tiger lilies in the summit meadows yet, nor are the rock gardens particularly profuse. Currently blooming: Roundleaf violet <I>(Viola orbiculata)</I>, Early Blue violet <I>(Viola adunca)</I>, Wild Strawberry <I>(Fragaria virginiana)</I>, Harsh Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja hispida)</I>, and Spreading Phlox <I>(Phlox diffusa)</I>.
