While Arrowleaf Balsamroot <I>(Balsamhoriza sagittata)</I> was starting to appear, there was not much of it yet, nor was there much evidence of the lupine which will accompany it. Plenty of Pungent Desert Parsley <I>(Lomatium grayi)</I>.
