CommentsJennie Wilke reports that many wildflowers are in bloom in the forest -- she specifically visited the North Ridge Trail, but based upon my many visits to this location, many of these would also be present on the East Ridge Trail: Sorrel, yellow violets, Oregon grape, windflower, vanilla leaf, Oregon iris, and star-flowered Solomon`s seal. Please see her photos in the Facebook group.

Also, Nancy Hoffman Cooke reports that the rock gardens below the summit are in full bloom. Her photos can also be found in the Facebook group.

'Very little grows on jagged rock. Be ground. Be crumbled, so wildflowers will come up where you are.' -- Rumi
