CommentsThe lupine and tiger lilies in the summit meadows have not yet started to bloom, but the flowers elsewhere are coming along nicely.

Blooming in the meadows next to the gravel road: huge swaths of Small false Solomon's Seal (Maianthemum stellatum), Roundleaf violet (Viola orbiculata), Early Blue violet (Viola adunca), and Wild Strawberry (Fragaria virginiana).

Blooming in the rock gardens: Harsh Paintbrush (Castilleja hispida), Catchfly (Silene douglasii), Cardwell's Penstemon (Penstemon cardwellii), Rough Wallflower (Erysium asperum), Spring Gold (Lomatium utriculatum), Spreading Phlox (Phlox diffusa), and Small blue-eyed Mary (Collinsia parviflora).

Blooming in the summit meadows: Cliff Larkspur (Delphinium menziesii), Arrow-Leaf Groundsel (Senecio triangularis), Spring Gold (Lomatium utriculatum), Roundleaf violet (Viola orbiculata), Early Blue violet (Viola adunca), Wild Strawberry (Fragaria virginiana), and Harsh Paintbrush (Castilleja hispida).
