CommentsGrass widows are just past prime--many white ones among the lavendar and purples. The little Lomatioum piperi, Salt & Pepper, is still blooming and Lomatium columbianum and Lomatium grayi are coming into bloom. Yellow Bells (Fritillaria pudica) are blooming as well as Gold Stars (Crocidium multicaule. A few pink Smooth Prairie Stars (Lithophragma glabra)are also flowering. Saxifrage are in bud. Tiny Spring Whitlow Grass (Draba verna) is also in bloom. Everything seems to be about 2 weeks behind other years.
