Blooming in the forest along the Meadow's Edge Trail: Star-Flowered Solomon's-Seal (Maianthemum stellatum), Redwood Sorrel (Oxalis oregana), Pacific Bleeding Heart (Dicentra formosa), Wood Violet (Viola glabella), Candyflower (Claytonia sibirica), Wood Strawberry (Fragaria vesca), and Vanilla Leaf (Achlys triphylla). Blooming in the meadows: Tiger Lily (Lilium columbianum), Sickle-keeled Lupine (Lupinus albicaulis), Cliff Larkspur (Delphinium menziesii), Arrow-Leaf Groundsel (Senecio triangularis), Spring Gold (Lomatium utriculatum), Roundleaf violet (Viola orbiculata), Early Blue violet (Viola adunca), Wild Strawberry (Fragaria virginiana), and Western Buttercup (Ranunculus occidentalis var. occidentalis). Blooming in the rock gardens: Harsh Paintbrush (Castilleja hispida), Catchfly (Silene douglasii), Cardwell's Penstemon (Penstemon cardwellii), Prairie Lupine (Lupinus lepidus), Rough Wallflower (Erysium asperum), Scalloped Onion (Allium crenulatum), and Spreading Phlox (Phlox diffusa). |
