Description

Buckhorn Lookout provides a fantastic view of Hells Canyon. The trail crosses slopes blanketed by wildflowers in June and July, including deseret parsley, scarlet gilia, and paintbrush.

Directions

From Enterprise take Highway 82 towards Joseph for approximately three miles. Turn left on Crow Creek Road. Proceed five miles, then turn right on Zumwalt/Buckhorn Road. Continue on Zumwalt Road for 32 miles, and watch for a sign for Buckhorn Overlook. Turn right at that sign onto Road 780. Go straight at the first junction and then keep right at the next two forks to reach the parking area.
