Description

This is a demanding hike to beautiful wildflower meadows. For more trail information, visit the U.S. Forest Service web site.

Directions

Take Highway 126 4 miles east of Blue River, and turn right on Forest Road 19 (Aufderheide Forest Drive). Take Road 19 for 26 miles to the Box Canyon Horse Camp. Hike up the Grasshopper Trail (#3569) for 0.25 mile to the junction of Chucksney Mountain Trail.
