Description

Jacksonville Woodlands is a good place to see spring wildflowers, most notably Gentner’s Fritillaria (Fritillaria gentneri). This rare plant is found only in isolated populations in Southern Oregon. The largest concentration of this rare and showy red bell is found at this location.
