It's still a bit early, but now is a great time to visit the Tire Mountain trail! <P> Blooming in forested areas: lots of Star-Flowered Solomon's-Seal <I>(Maianthemum stellatum)</I>, Fairy Lanterns <I>(Disporum smithii)</I>, Hooker's Fairybell <I>(Disporum hookeri)</I>, Oregon Fawn Lily <I>(Erythronium oregonum)</I>, Pacific Bleeding Heart <I>(Dicentra formosa)</I>, Candy Flower <I>(Claytonia sibirica)</I>, Wood Strawberry <I>(Fragaria vesca)</I>, Wood Violet <I>(Viola glabella)</I>, Sitka Valerian <I>(Valeriana sitchensis)</I>, Siskiyou Iris <I>(Iris bracteata)</I>, Pacific Waterleaf <I>(Hydrophyllum tenuipes)</I>, Fairy Slipper <I>(Calypso Bulbosa)</I>, and Western Meadowrue <I>(Thalictrum occidentale)</I>. <P> Blooming in the meadows: Rosy Plectritis <I>(Plectritis congesta)</I>, Menzies' Larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>, Cat's Ear Lily <I>(Calochortus tolmiei)</I>, Harsh Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja hispida)</I>, Monkey Flower <I>(Mimulus guttatus)</I>, Manroot <I>(Marah oregonus)</I>, Spring Gold <I>(Lomatium utriculatum)</I>, Western Buttercup <I>(Ranunculus occidentalis)</I>, Arrowleaf Groundsel <I>(Senecio triangularis)</I>, Scalloped Onion <I>(Allium crenulatum)</I>, and Deltoid Balsamroot <I>(Balsamorhiza deltoidea)</I> in the second meadow. Also blooming are Wild Strawberry <I>(Fragaria virginiana)</I>, Large-flowered Blue-eyed Mary <I>(Collinsia grandiflora)</I>, and Pacific Lupine <I>(Lupinus lepidus)</I>, and Cardwell's Penstemon <I>(Penstemon cardwellii)</I>.
