Tryon Creek is also home to a spectacular trillium display early each spring, as well as an annual Trillium Festival.
The non-profit group Friends of Tryon Creek State Park operates a nature store, summer youth day camps, school tours, guided nature walks and special events.
There is no day-use fee at this park.
Proceed on Terwilliger Boulevard for 2.3 miles to the park entrance, which will be on your right.
